A total of 11 603 companies have debts for more than BGN 5000 to the National Revenue Agency. The total amount of debts is BGN 9.63 billion. 1896 companies owe the NRA amounts of over BGN 1 million. Leader by debts is Translimited which owes over BGN 431 million. The company is believed that has bought companies in debt to the Treasury, and thus has acquired their debts. The second largest debtor is Afeliya Ltd. with obligation to NRA of over BGN 163 million. It is followed by Stomana Pernik, declared bankruptcy, which owes more than BGN 73.6 million. Fourth was Christian RadicalParty with debts of more than BGN 58 million, Stroikomplekt 2006 Ltd owes BGN 53 million and Bourgas Sugar Plants JSC - over BGN 39 million.
