Neterra expanded its data center in Sofia Neterra expanded its data center called Sofia Data Center (SDC). It is situated on a whole new floor of the buildings, where the center in the Sofias neighborhood Mladost is located. Neterra invested EUR 1.5 million in construction and equipping expansion of the center. The news comes out just a year and half after the company opened SDC. Back then the company launched the first floor of the center. It has been fully occupied already and its capacity has been exhausted. There are customers for the new part of the data center. Real investment in the second floor of the data center is the very equipment- Internet connection (including satellite), fire alarm, air conditioning, security system, and continuous power supply. Through SDS Neterra will provide wide range of services, typical of such facilities. One of them is collocation or a special place where companies may locate their servers. If customers desire so their devices will be put in a special cell for additional security. Another segment that is growing in popularity is cloud services. For the purpose Neterra has its own platform, called Cloudware.

Bulgaria's Neterra Communications, Israel's SpaceCom enter partnership Bulgarian telecommunications company Neterra Communications and Israeli communication satellites operator SpaceCom entered into a strategic partnership in the provision of satellite TV services, the Bulgarian company said on Friday. The two companies will partner in satellite Direct-to-home (DTH) TV services, as well as video distribution to cable head-ends, VSAT communications, broadband Internet services via AMOS-2 satellite, and after its end of activity - via AMOS-6, Neterra Communications said in a statement posted on its website. More than 60 TV channels will be offered via the DTH platform, as Neterra Communications will soon expand the list with HD channels, it added. Neterra supports a portfolio of integrated global communication solutions based on the latest fibre, IP and satellite transmission technologies. Its data network covers all big cities in Bulgaria. SpaceCom, operating under the AMOS brand, is an Israel-based leading provider of broadcast and communications services to Europe, the Middle East, the U.S. East Coast, Africa, Russia, China and South Asia.
