| According to data from the household panel of Gallup International, since the end of 1998, 7 companies represented by 15 brands are active participants with over 4 per cent of the market. The undisputed leader among them is Hayat Chimia with the brands Test and Bingo. Their share constitutes almost 29 per cent of the purchases of washing powders. Regardless of the smaller amounts of bought products, Procter&Gamble holds 20 per cent of the market with the classic brands Ariel and Tide. A successful Bulgarian producer also participates here.
