According to the local companies registers, now there are over 500 companies with Bulgarian participation in Romania. Five or six companies with Bulgarian capitals are being registered in the country a week, trade attache in Bucharest, Mr. Atanas Stamov, said. With its 23 million population Romania is the biggest country in the region. This is reason why it is the Balkan favourite of the multinational companies in the sector of fast-selling consumer goods. Kalvacha Engineering has been exporting and installing equipment for gas stations to Romania for three years. The company has built some 120 gas stations so far. The installations, except the tanks, are made in our Stara Zagora-based factory. We are penetrating in the market thanks to our reasonable prices, which are higher than those of the Romanian competitors but lower than the Italian and the German ones, Stoycho Darvingov from Kalvacha Engineering said.
