West-East Bank has kept a low profile, making a rare appears in the newspaper columns a year ago when BNB handed the bank's Nabil Halil Issa a director certificate. Issa is a close associate of one of West-East Bank's founders, Safi Harb. Harb was replaced in the bank's board by Dusan Valencic in a move interpreted as an attempt to convince the public of the Slovenians' full-fledged involvement in the bank According to BNB data, West-East Bank's assets stood at 89.4 mln levs at end-September.
