The Sofia-based "Lesilmash", which deals with trade and engineering of machines and installations for foundry, mechanical engineering, etc., also reports impressive growth - 518%. In 2021, it was joined by "GL Investments" - a company with a very broad scope of activity, which shortly before was acquired by the manager of "Lesilmash" Ivo Mutashki. He is the sole owner of the company until March 2023, when Stefan Georgiev enters with a majority share (99.3%). Three months later, Georgiev transferred his participation to Krum Kostadinov. Mutashki continues to hold 0.6% of the capital. Larger orders are behind the 425 percent increase in Metal-co's revenues. The company is engaged in the production and installation of metal structures for halls and factories and is based in the village of Parvomai, Petri. However, the orders are abroad. Burgas-based "Himtech" specializes in industrial construction, offering production and installation of equipment and technological equipment, as well as individual design. The company was established in 2002, and according to information on its website, its first sites were on oil processing plants, and then it expanded its activities with clients in the wood processing industry and the water supply network. Large enterprises in these sectors in Burgas are the refinery "Lukoil Neftohim" and the producer of boards "Kronoshpan". A few years later, "Himtech" began to work abroad as well, producing and installing metal structures and equipment in France, Croatia, Serbia and Ukraine. The company is owned by Manol Zagorchev. "Merian", registered in Pernik, deals with mechanical processing of metal and is owned by Ivaylo Alexandrov. In addition to a strong increase in revenues in 2022 (235%), the company also reported a four-fold increase in profit, which reached BGN 2.3 million. The "KPZ - 99" Kova press plant in the Dryanovo village of Tsareva livada produces hot stampings from steel and non-ferrous metals , as well as various metal parts, including cases for military production. The main owners are the executive director Mitko Mandichev (45.8%) and Simona Dencheva (40.3%). The threefold increase in revenue helps the company turn a profit in 2022 after a minimal loss the previous year. The boom in the construction of photovoltaic plants is behind the tripling of the turnover of the Razgrad MAT, in which the main owners are Djipov Djipov and Milen Minchev (33% each). The start of production of profiles for photovoltaic plants has added about 40% to the turnover of "Baros Vision" (11th place in the ranking) in Kuklen, which is increasing its revenue by 157% in 2022. The company's main business is the production of glass railings and it also traditionally grows by about 30 - 40% per year. The company for aluminum profiles "Profil - I" (19th in the ranking) from the Plovdiv village of Kostievo has also been producing structures for photovoltaic plants for more than ten years. Many sites have been completed in Bulgaria, Germany, France, Great Britain, Finland, Belgium, Turkey, Greece, Austria, Italy, etc. The owners of the company are Ivan Batakliev (95%) and Valentina Bataklieva (5%). More orders and higher prices are the reasons for the strong growth in revenues of Unimet from Kazan. The company trades in steel, supplying bars, sheets, profiles and pipes to large industrial enterprises in Bulgaria for the production of machinery and equipment and for the military industrial complex. The company has several investment projects, the goal of which is to reach a turnover of BGN 200 million within two to three years. New warehouses of 5,000 square meters have been built and it is currently working on a project for a new workshop to start producing products for the industry. About 15 people will be employed there, and the investment is estimated at about 3 million euros and includes the construction of solar panels with storage batteries. The family company "Chakhov" from the Stara Zagorje village of Bogomilovo, which manufactures and installs metal structures and operates only in Bulgaria, also had more customers. Among the larger commercial projects it has completed in 2022 are a retail park in Haskovo and shops in a Sofia mall, and its industrial sites include the expansions of Novotechprom and ATE Plast (as a subcontractor to Kordeel). The higher prices of materials in 2022 also had an influence on the growth of revenues, commented the majority owner and manager Georgi Chakhov. For 2023, the company will report a 5-6% lower turnover due to the drop in prices, a similar result is expected for this year as well. With a 153% growth, the Sofia family company "Mengov Metal 1", which deals with the processing of mechanical details, ranks 12th. The enterprise produces housings for poker machines and accessories for casino equipment, and works as a subcontractor for other companies, including ABB. All production is for export. The revenues of another equipment manufacturer for the gambling industry - the Sofia-based EGT SP - also increased more than twice. The company was established in early 2020 as a subsidiary of sector leader Euro Games Technologies to manufacture enclosures and components for gaming machines. In March 2020, the company acquired part of "Colchida Metal" in Pernik, where the production is based. In the following year, the company began to invest in new machinery, purchased two more properties next to the factory where it worked, implemented new processes and by the end of the year managed to double its production capacity. Investment continues beyond that, with a powder coating shop due to be completed in 2023 so that no external subcontractors are used. All this leads to an increase in revenue and the company quickly becomes profitable. The ranking of the most dynamic companies is completed by the Plovdiv-based "ZGP Bulgaria", part of "Jupiter Invest 05", which is engaged in galvanizing metals and is the only one with a loss in 2022, the Sofia-based producer of metal products "K botanika", as well as the scrap dealers "Ekologistik", "Dinatrade Bulgaria", "Protect Hold" and "Garo - 2004".
