The construction of the Danube Industrial Technology Park has begun The construction of the Danube Industrial Technology Park in Svishtov has started with funding provided by the state in the person of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIR), BDB and the FLAG Fund. MIR allocated nearly 27 million BGN under the procedure for the development of industrial zones and parks from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NBVU), and BDB provided 25.5 million BGN in bridge financing. Funds for the implementation of the project have also been provided by the FLAG Fund. Additional support for investors who will open production facilities in Svishtov can be provided by the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BAI) under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA). So far, eight companies have already announced their intention to invest over 150 million EUR in the new industrial and technology park in Svishtov.
