The industrial parks in Bulgaria, which began to be built last year with funding under the AttractInvestBG program, part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), will be ready by the end of June. 11 projects were approved with a total value of nearly 143 million euros, including 105.6 million euros in subsidies - Ruse, Shumen, Svishtov, Lovech, Sofia, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Vidin, Targovishte and Sliven. The industrial park in Sliven is one of the largest in terms of area in the country and will be developed in three stages. The first RRP project to be completed is the first phase of "Industrial Park Sliven". The completed part "North" has an area of ??452 decares and is worth 12.1 million euros. The contractor for the construction activities is the consortium "Hidro-Vod Stroy", which includes "Hidrostroy" and VDH. The entire project will be 2.7 thousand acres, which will make it one of the largest industrial parks in the country. Currently, the park has 38 properties that are ready to move into, and the first investment is already a fact - a logistics park of the construction company "Bolid". The largest project in the Industrial Park "Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas" is for the development of the second phase of the industrial zone in the city - "South-West", worth 21 million euros excluding VAT, and the contractor is "Automagistrali - Cherno more". Investors include the manufacturer of electrical installations and air conditioning "Saturn-2", as well as "Sea Life", which will build a factory for canned seafood delicacies. Burgas' "Char" will develop a tailoring production of textile products, and "Sveta Sofia" will produce photovoltaic panels. "Vartex" plans to build a construction hypermarket "Maxsmart". "Altest" will invest in the expansion of its existing aluminum and PVC joinery enterprise. "Dimi Trans" plans to build a logistics center, and "Pachkov" will invest in a furniture factory. The project of "Industrial Zone Zagore" - a company of the municipality (about 80%) and "National Company Industrial Zones" (20%), is for the second stage of the zone around the village of Elenino. The public procurement is worth 8.85 million euros excluding VAT and was won by the association "DLV SP Groma", which includes the companies DLV, "Groma Hold" and "SP Holding". The remaining five properties have a total area of ??just over 600 decares, with three of them being sold to CSIF of Tsvetelina Borislavova. The park already plans to build seven factories by three different investors, one of which is "Sunotec". In the remaining properties, production in various sectors is planned - for cold-pressed metal structures, for the production of transformers using German technology, a logistics base, the production of vanadium batteries, a solar panel recycling plant, for the production of agricultural drones and for quickly prefabricated houses. Smart Solar Technologies will produce solar panels and cells, with the investment here being strategic and worth 120 million euros with 816 jobs. With the development of the industrial park in Ruse, Bulmarket Group hopes to turn the area into a hub for innovation in the transport sector. One of the first parks on the list of projects, which is privately owned, is the LVZ Industrial Park in Ruse. It is being built on the territory of the 1866 Locomotive and Wagon Plant, which was acquired by Stanko Stankov's Bulmarket group. The project is worth 13.8 million euros excluding VAT, and the public procurement was divided into two separate positions. The construction of the supply infrastructure is worth 7.44 million euros and was won by the Prista-TR consortium of Pathengineering and Pathengineeringstroy-T. The second part is for the internal infrastructure and facilities. It is worth 6.37 million euros and is being implemented by "Dnepr M". Its own investment in the project is 4 million euros, and in total the company has invested over 40 million euros in the park so far. In addition to the park in Ruse, "Bulmarket Group" is also actively developing another project - in Radnevo near Stara Zagora, which is not financed under the PVP. From Targovishte to Vidin There are several more projects in Northern Bulgaria. The largest of them is private - in the "Industrial Zone Targovishte" (formerly "Prima Magna Group"), and is worth 17.7 million euros. The main shareholders in the company are Dimitar Popov and Petar Gospodinov. The consortium "Targovishte - Industrial 2025", which includes "Planex Varna", "Geokonstrukt" and "Avtomagistrali - Cherno more", was chosen as the project contractor. "Helios Power" will develop a technology data center. The project in Vidin is also private. It is owned by "VN Investzon" with owners "Anel General" (87.52%) and "Prestige Energy" (12.48%) and is worth 12.53 million euros excluding VAT. It is located on the site of the former "Vidachim" plant. The activities on the project were initially delayed due to the lack of interest in the announced public procurement. The second public procurement was won by the only candidate - the consortium "Industrial Park Vidin 2025", in which "Lyunik" and "Khimremontstroy" participate with 50%. The smallest project in terms of funding is that of "Industrial Park Shumen" - 2.31 million euros. In this case, the park has existed for almost twenty years and is not a new site. The larger project is that of "Industrial Park Madara Shumen", which has a total value of 13.5 million euros, and the goal is to utilize the terrain of the now defunct agricultural machinery plant. The industrial park in Lovech has solar panels and batteries and has a closed power supply network Another large project - worth 14.9 million euros, about which there is not much information, is the Lovech industrial park "Balkan", which is owned by the Domuschievi brothers. It started a few years ago with the idea of ??becoming a center for the production of electric vehicles of the German Next-E.Go, but in the end the investor went bankrupt and the idea failed. Despite this, the park continued to develop, as it is energy independent - with large solar installations, batteries for charging and is the first to receive permission from the KEWR to operate a closed power distribution network. One is for the construction of internal technical infrastructure, which was won by "El Construction-Bulgaria". The larger contract, which included a total of 6 separate activities, was won by different contractors. The municipal company that manages the park received a 35-year license from the Energy and Water Resources Regulatory Commission for the supply of natural gas directly to investors. 10 new projects for industrial parks will be financially supported under the "Regional Development" program, the contracts for which were signed at the beginning of this year. They are worth a total of 117.8 million euros, of which 87.6 million euros are grant funding. The support is under the so-called just transition and is aimed at the implementation of industrial and logistics parks and zones mainly in the regions of Kyustendil, Pernik and Stara Zagora with a focus on the use of clean energy. The largest project is by a private company - "Atlantic Way". It is worth nearly 21 million euros and will be implemented in the region of Stara Zagora. It is followed by another private project - by "Milktronic", worth 18.3 million euros, which will be implemented in Nova Zagora. The third largest project is by the municipality of Stara Zagora - for 16.3 million euros, the aim of which is to further develop the "Zagore - Elenino" zone. There are also projects in the regions of Sliven, Pernik, Kyustendil and Kazanlak.
