All three leading telecoms in Bulgaria - "A1 Bulgaria", "Vivacom Bulgaria" and "Yettel Bulgaria" - report record revenues for 2024. The leader is A1 with 1.61 billion leva, followed by "Vivacom" with 1.49 billion leva and "Yettel" with 1.04 billion leva. Number two this year reports the strongest growth - almost 17%, with the staff increasing by 5%. The three operators share the leadership in the main segments - mobile voice services, internet and television. The total number of pay TV subscribers in Bulgaria is 2.02 million, which means that "Vivacom" delivers television to about 1.2 million households, followed by A1 with 26.5% of pay TV subscribers (about 535 thousand households). "Yettel" has 30,000 subscribers at the end of 2024. The company offers pay TV through its 5G network. The largest in value is the internet market - 2.2 billion leva, including both fixed and mobile. But here too, competition is shrinking - in 2023, small operators held 44% of this segment in terms of revenue and 34% in terms of subscribers, now these shares have decreased to 35.8% and 26.6%, respectively. "Vivacom" is number one with 40% in terms of subscribers and just over 37% in terms of revenue, followed by A1. And in this segment, "Yettel" reaches third place after the disappearance of "Bulsatcom". A1 is the leader in terms of mobile service subscribers, while "Yettel" remains the leader in terms of turnover. Thus, the three telecoms share the leading positions in the individual categories. Yettel Group company - "CETIN Bulgaria" deals with telecom infrastructure and wholesale service delivery. Its revenues increased by 10% to 305 million leva. "Neterra" and "Netix Communications" offer both standard telecom services and complex telecommunications solutions. The company provides connectivity services, guaranteed internet and data exchange services in over 220 global points. The revenues of both companies grew, respectively by 12% to 37.3 million leva and 11.6% to 5.3 million leva.
