The Sofia-based company Gimel JSC paid BGN 2.5 mln for the Balkan’s biggest greenhouse complex. The company will become the owner of the hothouses between the villages of Zvanichevo and Mokrishte, which were owned so far by the bankrupted state company Greenhouses- Pazardzhik SPJSC. Gimel managed to win in the sealed bidding in a furious fight with three competitors. The Sofia-company Agroterm Commerce was ranked second.

The Sofia-citizen Mr. Geo Dundarov establishes a luxury hunting facility in the Shishkovtsi region, near the Yovkovtsi dam lake. The manager of Gimel JSC, the first local company manufacturing greenhouse planted tomatoes and cucumbers, has founded an exemplary horse-farm with 12 horses, four of which are used for guarding the hunting regions as well. Mr. Dundarov has invested lots of funds to restore the old hunting reputation of the region and to develop hunting tourism.
