| A long-term loan of USD 5 million will be granted to "Bulgarian-American Credit Bank" (BACB) by the International Financial Corporation (IFC). The money will be used on crediting the small and medium-sized enterprises. Up to the end of September 1998 BACB could only grant credits up to the amount of its capital of BGL 22 billion. | The net profit of "Bulgarian - American Credit Bank" JSC (BACB) for 1998 is in the amount of BGL 369 million and will be wholly provisioned. This decision was taken at the bank's General Meeting. The management of the bank was relieved of responsibility and the programme suggested by the Executive Directors was approved. | Bulgarian - American Credit Bank became a full member of Association of Commercial Banks (ACB), decided the Board of Directors of ACB. Thus the members of the organization became 30. | Bulgarian-American Investment Fund (BAIF) has realized more than 700 investment projects in Bulgaria for the amount of USD 54 million since the beginning of 1992. The fund has invested USD 5 million in 75 private tourist objects in the country under "Hotels" programme. The amount of loans, which have been granted by BAIF through Bulgarian-American Credit Bank JSC (Sofia) for the development of the hotel-keeping in Bulgaria, are between USD 30,000 and USD 1 million.
