Part of equipment for Belene NPP goes to Kozloduy The government allowed the "National Electric Company" to sell part of the equipment delivered for the "Belene" NPP to the "Kozloduy" NPP, the press service of the Council of Ministers reported. It is a question of a power block transformer, which will serve to implement the programs for extending the service life of the V and VI units of the Kozloduy NPP. Its value is close to BGN 1 million. The sale will be carried out through direct negotiation between the two companies, at an initial sale price determined by an independent appraiser, and according to the procedure regulated in the Regulations for the Implementation of the Law on Public Enterprises. With the realization of the transaction, the security of the equipment of the Kozloduy NPP and the optimization of the time for carrying out repair activities will be guaranteed. This is not the first time that the owner of the equipment for the suspended Belene NPP construction project - NEK, has sold parts of it to our nuclear power plant.
